Be unique with your own wing shape! Have a wild idea? There is much more possible than you think!
Chimera Wings can provide you wit a custom design for the wing frame of your wing costume. This is how it works:
STEP 1: Reference Image
Draw the shape of the wings you want. Make sure there is a person in the drawing as a reference for size. The more sizes you can include (f.i. wingspan) the better.
OR: Find an front or back image of the wingshape that you want (not a side image)
Ideally also provide a reference for the ‘closed’ or ‘folded’ state of the wings.
STEP 2: Request custom order
Go to the Chimera Wings Etsy shop and click: ‘Request custom order’.
Send a message including your drawing/image and more details about your wing costume.
STEP 3: Design
Design time! We’ll I send you a design that is as close to your reference image or drawing as possible. You can then provide feedback.
STEP 4: Production
After you are happy, you will be sent a custom order listing for you to purchase (through Etsy)!
After purchase it is production time!
Estimated production time: 2 weeks excl. shipping.
STEP 5: Let your creativity flow!
You will be notified when your wings are shipped.

Please note the following:
- All custom frames are a variation of Chimera Wings’ standard wing frames, different materials or back piece sizes are unfortunately not possible.
- Make sure to provide a reference image that views the wings from the front or the back, not from the side.
- Once production starts, refunds are not possible any more. We only start production after your explicit permission.
- The item is finished within two weeks and then sent to the provided address. In case of unexpectant delay, Chimera Wings will contact the customer to find a solution.
- Custom orders cannot be returned or refunded.
